The Announcement About the Summit Tournament:
After the show was over, Hue Langston held a press conference to further divulge information about the second UPW event, entitled "Climb to the Summit".
When asked how the title would be contested for:
Who will be competing for in the Climb to the Summit?
[From the entrance way emerges backstage reporter, Ian Wright. Wright scurries down to the ring, takes the microphone and climbs inside.]
Wright: Fans, it is with great honor and privledge that I introduce to you, the man behind all of this, Hue Langston!
[The fans in attendance all clap their hands as Langston strides to the ring. The middle aged man smiles and waves as he shakes hands with Wright and takes control of the microphone.]
Langston: Thank you Ian and thank you fans! It is because of all of you that my dream has been fulfilled. You people have faith in me and I cannot begin to thank you for backing UPW, the staff, the wrestlers, everyone involved. But I'm out here tonight to let you know that in three weeks, we will be returning to this building for our second show.
[The fans cheer as they would rather have a local show than drive outside the city for one.]
Langston: On February 25th, UPW returns with "Climb to the Summit". Our main title is called The Summit Championship. It is in direct lineage from the WMW Summit Title and as the such, we will be having qualifying matches to determine who will in fact be vying for the Summit Championship at our third event.
[The fans begin a "Thank you Hue!" chant.]
Langston: No, thank you. Well, I'm going to go back out back and watch the rest of this great show. Enjoy!
[Langston and Wright leave the ring together and head backstage.]

After the show was over, Hue Langston held a press conference to further divulge information about the second UPW event, entitled "Climb to the Summit".
"We are excited to have had one successful event under our belts and we now can move onward towards the second one. We are going to have qualifying matches to give five wrestlers the chance to compete for the right to be the new Summit Champion."
When asked how the title would be contested for:
"The superstars will compete in matches where the the remaining five will compete in a forty-five minute Iron Man Four Way Match, which we've dubbed 'Ultimate Iron Match' at our third event. The person who has the most pinfalls or submissions after forty-five minutes will win the Summit Title."
Who will be competing for in the Climb to the Summit?
"The invitations are wide open. Any wrestler from anywhere is welcome. I'm sending feelers to the World Wrestling Alliance, to the athletes in Superstar Pro Wrestling and Pure Pro Wrestling. Anyone interested has until Sunday night at 11:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time to let me know their intent. Also, we aren't capping the entrant count, we'll take a ton of wrestlers."
