So I'm posting this here and on WfWA board, so the people I know that follow the fed that aren't in it, and are on these more, might see it and can help.
Also, anybody who's not, still feedback this bitch up, cause I'm pondering another idea for the place.
So, when I started the company, I began doing the bi-weekly podcasts, having the handlers come on and play their characters, having callers, commercials, ya know, the typical radio show to hype the event. It got great response because it was differen't from the norm, and I was all, yeah cool, let's roll with it.
Well now I'm kinda tossing another idea around to continue to make things differen't, but this one is gonna cost me a some buck to do.
Basically I'm thinking about purchasing some equipment I found online that would allow me to record and edit on the computer, me playing my 360, being instead of the typical results hand written, we would mix it up a bit.
Most segments and interviews, things involving text would be hand written by myself and the handlers, but the matches would be done on my smackdown vs raw 09. I'd have a buddy who's very familiar with the game come by for the shows, and we would basically treat the match in the game, the same as we would in our indy fed. Plan and wing it, and then upload the shows, allowing people to watch their matches, and the entire shows, rather than having to read it.
So you would get the dialog lead ups, the works, then watch the actual match.
Just curious as to what people think on the idea, and if it's something people would actually be interested in watching take place.
I would also just do play by play over it as DT, and maybe do the Joey Styles way and one man it, or have somebody that is knowledgeable come by as well, and do the color, and maybe heel out a bit to add to the comedy and good vs bad style.
Anyway, just something I'm pondering around with. I'd probably pick this up and have the first video show be our supercard at the end of June, so still time to hear what people think.
Oh, and if you haven't already, join PPW dammit, otherwise I'll sick James after you to nag you about it.
Ryan.
