(And so, it begins again...)
Jason Ramsey is tired...he's been on an airplane, actually three airplanes to be exact, for a very long time. He stares into the ether as he waits for his luggage to come off the carousel.
(April in Minneapolis may still be coat weather, but I'm not buying a coat today.)
He grabs his bags and heads for the main exit. For a 35 year old man who has spent the last decade running his body through a proverbial mine field, he is in fantastic shape. He steps into the bright Minnesota afternoon and his eyes scan the area. He finds a familiar face.
(Ah, good old Garret. I knew he'd keep me from eating airport food.)
The two men shake hands and make their way to the parking tower. As the two men reach Bishop's pick-up, a voice calls out Ramsey's name. He turns to see an airport security officer walking briskly toward him.
(Oh please, not now...I was so close to eating real food...)
Ramsey reaches into his bag, searching for his passport. The officer stops him and smiles.
"I grew up in Portland. You're Jason Ramsey..."
Ramsey smiles and relaxes. The two begin to exchange pleasantries. Ramsey poses for a picture with the young man.
"What was Mike Bell like?"
(Heh, your reputation precedes you "Superstar".)
Ramsey politely answers and waves goodbye after a hand shake and an autograph.
(I should have signed it "your buddy, Mike Bell". That's ok, at least it wasn't Lennox this time...)
Ramsey and Bishop climb into the shining black pickup and the teacher leans his head back as the student begins to discuss the upcoming match. Ramsey's thoughts wander as Bishop continues.
(Team Elite...I gave those guys a shot when no one knew who the hell they were. I always though Mr. Corey was smarter than this. Does he have any idea what the three of us are capable of? Jesus, I'm hungry...)
Bishop and Ramsey arrive at a small burger joint. Ramsey smiles as he eyes the greasy spoon from roof to foundation.
(Can't get a decent burger in Japan. This is going to be good. I guess it's ok that that fans don't remember me for anything outside of the company I kept here. I guaran-goddamn-tee that Team Elite will remember me. That's a promise.)

The word of the day, is Superstar.
To use the word in a sentence: "Superstar" Jason Ramsey is out for himself.
Daniel Corey worked hard on making a name for himself and his team over the last year. From being a past tense spoken name, Team ELITE is now one of the top searched names on the internet. Corey, alongside Chris Butler, have taken Japan, Canada and the United States by storm. But lately, Team ELITE's presence has been missing in Japan.
Corey's reasoning might be a little off, but he seems to believe that Jason Ramsey is so deadset on wasting his time trying to return to the ring than to book the best tag team SuperstarPro has ever had on its roster. He also has been quoted lately saying Ramsey "envies" Daniel Corey. Well, whatever Corey says is supposed to be gold, so take his statements with a grain of salt.
Now, Chris Butler probably thinks otherwise, probably respects Ramsey, his Tenchu-Do and everything that comes with it, but since he never speaks, you really cannot know what he thinks. We assume he's the loyal partner that will go to war for his friend.
Carlos Rodriguez, the newest member, is different. He's a nose-to-the-grindstone fighter, a Mixed Martial Artist and he has a chip on his shoulder the size of Florida. The Puerto Rican sensation is dying to make a name for himself in a new world, pro wrestling. By joining Team ELITE, he could easily make it quickly, as the TE name is world known.
Once again, the paths of Team ELITE cross with Dusty Griffith and Garret Bishop. This time, the teacher aligns with his two greatest students to battle three bitter rivals.

[Just you wait until your father gets home.]
[It's something mom's the world over would say to their unruly children to get them to calm down and behave.]
[Mainly because daddy's the one that doled out the ass whuppin's on those same unruly children.]
[And enjoyed it immensely.]
[C'mon, beating your kids is the responsible thing to do.]
[It's as American as Apple Pie and $1.99 3 day trials on your preferred porn site.]
['Cause you're spanking you know...]
[Yeah, nevermind.]
[Anyway.]
[Back to the father.]
[This Sunday the father comes home.]
[He's going to be getting in the middle of four brothers who have a grudge.]
[It wasn't so long ago that Griffith, Bishop, Corey, and Butler were the only ones they had to relate to while in those early weeks and months when they first started in Japan.]
[Perhaps they weren't friends, but they weren't enemies either. For a long time they kept each other going when times were the most difficult to adjust to a new way of life.]
[Somewhere along the way over these last couple of years things changed. They changed. They scattered out to make a name for themselves in the new world.]
[And now their sibling rivalry is over a lot more than who is excelling the most in the gym or who is gaining the favor of their father figure.]
[It's about gaining the respect they all feel they deserve from the others. Even if they have to beat it out of them to get it.]
